Samsung snaps LG’s eight-game winning streak. Samsung won 5-4 against LG in Daegu on Thursday, thanks to Kang Min-ho’s game-winning hit.

LG’s Kim Hyun-soo broke the tie in the bottom of the eighth with a solo shot to left field. In the bottom of the eighth, Ryu Ji-hyuk singled, Koo Ja-uk doubled and Kang Min-ho singled to make it 5-4.
David Buchanan, Samsung’s starting pitcher, stayed on the mound until the seventh inning, allowing just three runs. Two batters into the seventh inning, Buchanan felt a tingling sensation in his right wrist, but he fought through it and finished the inning.
LG starter Lee Ji-gang pitched 5⅔ innings, giving up four hits (one home run), one walk and two strikeouts.
