English Premier League Nottingham Forest forward Hwang Eui-jo (31) played the full game in a preseason match.
Nottingham fell 0-1 in a friendly against Valencia in the Spanish Primera Liga in Valencia, Spain, on Sept. 19.
Hwang started up front and played the full 90 minutes, but was unable to prevent his team from losing.
Since returning to England in early July from a loan spell with FC Seoul, Hwang has been slowly increasing his playing time and making his presence felt.
He came on as a second-half substitute in a preseason game against Notts County (4th Division) on July 16, scoring the winning goal in a 1-0 victory.
The following day, Hwang was looking to score for the second game in a row but was unable to find the back of the net, but played the full 90 minutes and caught the eye of manager Steve Cooper.
After joining Nottingham from Girondins Bordeaux (France) in August last year, Hwang was immediately loaned to Olympiakos in the Greek League. However, he failed to live up to expectations at Olympiakos and joined K League 1 side FC Seoul on a short-term loan in January. 스포츠토토
After improving his form in the first half of the season, scoring four goals and providing two assists in 18 games for Seoul, Hwang returned to Nottingham earlier this month, where he’s been warming up for his EPL debut.
Hwang has yet to make an official appearance for Nottingham, but has been given two consecutive opportunities in preseason, raising his hopes of competing for a starting spot.
Nottingham will host Levante (Spain) in a preseason match on Aug. 22.
