Jeonbuk Hyundai defeated Daegu FC 1-0 in the 17th round of the Hana OneQ K League 2023 at Jeonju World Cup Stadium at 7 p.m. on Sunday. It was the second consecutive victory for the club, setting a positive tone.

Jeonbuk deployed a 4-3-3 tactic. Song Min-kyu, Gustavo, and Hapa Silva led the attack, while Oh Jae-hyuk, Park Jin-seob, and Ryu Jae-moon formed the midfield. The defense was formed by Kim Jin-soo, Jung Tae-wook, Koo Ja-ryong, and Jung Woo-jae, with Kim Jung-hoon in goal.

Daegu opted for a 3-4-3 formation. Edgar, Sejingya, and Ko Jae-hyun formed the attack, supported by Hong Chul, Keita, Yongrae, and Hwang Jae-won. Cho Jin-woo, Hong Jung-woon, and Kim Jin-hyuk formed the back three, while Choi Young-eun wore the goalkeeping gloves.

The game began with a boring offensive battle. Both teams were exploratory and created chances from time to time, but nothing came of it. Jeonbuk opened the offense.
