Tottenham are looking to strengthen their squad to make a leap forward next season.

Tottenham have been humiliated this season, falling to eighth place in the English Premier League (EPL). They will not qualify for any European competitions next season.

Many pundits have blamed Spurs’ offense for their struggles. The team relied too much on Harry Kane. Son Heung-min was less explosive than last season, as was Dejan Kuluczewski. He had his worst season ever.

As a result, there have been calls for a new source of energy in the forward line, and one has arrived. Manchester United’s Jadon Sancho.

The 23-year-old Sancho was once considered one of the next big names alongside Elling Holland (Manchester City) and Kylian Mbappe (Paris Saint-Germain).

But that reputation was earned while he was still in a Dortmund jersey. After his move to Manchester United in 2021, those expectations were completely dashed. United paid a whopping £73 million ($118.7 billion) for Sancho, but it didn’t work out.

Sancho didn’t fit in at United and went through a slump. For this reason, he was dropped from the squad and given a break. He came back from the break, but he still hasn’t shown the destructive power he had at Dortmund. He scored just six goals in 26 league games this season. 먹튀검증

Local media outlets are reporting that Sancho is on United boss Louis van Gaal’s shopping list this summer. A summer move is likely.

This is the kind of player Tottenham want. According to Tribal Football, “Tottenham are ready to make an offer for Sancho. Van Gaal is pushing for the sale of Sancho. Tottenham want to bring him in for a transfer fee of £50 million ($81.3 billion).”

That’s a huge discount from two years ago. The question is whether United will accept it. “Tottenham believe £50 million is fair, but United will insist on a higher figure,” the outlet explained.
