Gareth Bale (34) has announced his retirement.
Bale announced on his social network service (SNS) on the 10th (Korean time) that he would “retire from the club and the national team after much consideration.”
Bale made his professional debut at Southampton in the English Premier League in the 2005-06 season.
After moving to Tottenham, he transferred to Real Madrid (Spain) in 2013 at the time of the highest transfer fee ever. He formed a triangle formation with Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema to achieve a third consecutive European Champions League title.
