Gareth Bale (34) has announced his retirement. 

Bale announced on his social network service (SNS) on the 10th (Korean time) that he would “retire from the club and the national team after much consideration.”

Bale made his professional debut at Southampton in the English Premier League in the 2005-06 season. 

After moving to Tottenham, he transferred to Real Madrid (Spain) in 2013 at the time of the highest transfer fee ever. He formed a triangle formation with Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema to achieve a third consecutive European Champions League title. In the 2020-21 season, he played on loan at Tottenham and played with Son Heung-min. Last year, he played an active part in LA FC of the US Major League Soccer (MLS), and decided to take off his uniform after the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar. 

He scored 41 goals in 111 appearances for Wales national team, and led them to the semi-finals of the 2016 European Football Championship.  메이저놀이터

Son Heung-min showed off his friendship on social media, saying, “Bale is a football legend with Tottenham. I applaud his great career. I wish you a lot of luck in your next career.”
