Wolverhampton have canceled their pre-season tour of South Korea.
Wolverhampton Wanderers announced on their official website on June 29 that they have been forced to cancel their pre-season tour and matches in South Korea next month.
Wolverhampton said the cancellation was due to the failure of the tour organizer, StadiumX/USG, to meet its financial and logistical obligations.
The club added: “We were due to play matches against Europa League finalists AS Roma and Scottish champions Celtic, but the organizational process was delayed for several weeks and tickets for the matches have not yet gone on sale, so we have decided to terminate our contract with the promoter and withdraw from Chure.” 메이저사이트
The Korean tour was organized by the same company that organized the visit of SSC Napoli (Italy) and RCD Mallorca (Spain) in June. At the time, the organizers were unable to get approval from the Korean Football Association to host the game.
Wolverhampton Wanderers were originally scheduled to play Celtic (Scotland) and AS Roma (Italy) in South Korea. With Wolverhampton canceling their tour of South Korea, the other two teams are bound to be affected.
AS Roma had previously announced their intention to cancel their tour of South Korea. Celtic’s visit is also in doubt. 토토사이트주소
“We are very disappointed that we will not be able to fulfill the promise we made in Korea this summer, not only for our partners and suppliers, but also for Hwang Hee-chan and all our fans,” said Marketing Manager Russell Jones. We had so many things planned for our supporters and we are devastated that we were unable to fulfill them.”
